Season 6, Episode 16: Interview with Jenny Aitken

In this episode Peter and Tom interview artist Jenny Aitken, one of the UK's most successful oil painters working today. Jenny is a member of the Royal Society of Marine Artists, exhibits her work nationally and internationally, has won numerous awards and regularly teaches, both in-person and online.

In the first part of the episode, Jenny discusses her journey into the art world, from an early interest through to studying at university, a job in graphic design and her first solo exhibition. She shares some of her highs and lows, discussing how she has approached the challenges, opportunities and decisions.
