This week’s takeaway… be clear about what you want from your art, set yourself targets and goals but be realistic and know that you are going to need to be resilient. A career in the art world might look fancy but it is also unpredictable and hard (and at the same time, wonderful). Where you decide to put your work and who you know, is what can make all the difference to being successful and selling - so do not place too much pressure on yourself if it’s not going so well and you haven’t found that place and that audience yet; you might never find it but don’t let that stop you creating!
